In 2008 the management of Memphis at the Santora, Proof Bar, and The
Crosby joined forces to promote a monthly summer event highlighting the
emerging nightlife scene along the Broadway corridor of Downtown Santa
Ana. The idea was simple…each venue would do what they normally do only
better and would band together to advertise, market, and promote as a
unified force. The goal was to attract new patrons to the Downtown and
promote moving from one venue to the next to enhance our customers
experience by providing a variety of entertainment and social mixing.

To say the event was a rousing success from the beginning is an
understatement. The first event saw well over 2000 visitors, that
success has continued with the added participation of The Gypsy Den and
Lola Gaspar in 2009 and 2010.

In 2011 we are going provide the Downtown area with new venues, live
entertainment, and as always free admission to all participating
locations.
